All SARA caregivers must clock-in and clock-out of their cases on HHA Exchange. Legally, it is required to prove that the caregiver has been with the patient during designated time periods.

We know how hard our SARAs work and the agency appreciates all you do for our clients.

Clocking-in and clocking-out makes sure you are correctly compensated for your hours. It also reassures us that you have arrived safely at the client’s home and that the client is safe as well because a reliable, competent caregiver is in with them.

Important Message from HR Compliance

It has come to our attention that multiple caregivers are clocking in and out from areas other than the client’s home. This is considered fraud and a violation of company policy. Any SARA that clocks in and out from another area other than the client’s home will be terminated ineligible to be rehired.

Not only will we be monitoring the clock in and clock out system of record, office personnel will also be conducting random visits to ensure that you are with your client for the duration of your scheduled time.

Please note: All changes with your schedule should be communicated with the Staffing department. We will contact the client or the family if you are going to be late or you are unable to make it to your shift. Most importantly you must notify the agency at least 2 or more hours if possible.

All SARAs should be using the mobile app or the client’s phone to clock in and out. It is also very important that you enter your duties at the end of your shift. If you experience issues with the mobile app or with clocking in and out from the client’s phone, please contact the office and we will be happy to assist you.
